By providing a professional, independent, and globally visible rating of entity governance and auditor quality, the proposed GQR social enterprise, impact investment service will help transform the accountability and trust environment in Emerging and Developing Markets, initially in SSA countries. The innovative GQR rating approach would be multi-dimensional and cross-border, providing:

• a consistent assessment across Private Companies, Not-For-Profits/Non-Governmental Organisations, State-Owned Enterprises, Public Institutions and their auditors;
• a mezzanine assessment of sectoral regulation as well as
• a comprehensive 'whole of system' assessment of the governance environment in a country.
